Hi Jake, It turns out Nigel was right about /var/qmail/control/locals - I was never told, or saw any documentation with regards to that file in particular but apparently, it only having "localhost" will look suspicious to GoDaddy and it has to have an FQDN that matches up with the IP of that server (which it now does, and so now it works).
According to my manager, the server in question already had the appropriate hostname in that file, but was overwritten when I rpm -Uvh'd the new toaster RPMs. So, that is something to be on the lookout for when upgrading (in addition to the separate issue of /home/vpopmail/etc/vpopmail.mysql needing the right password for the vpopmail MySQL database). > -----Original Message----- > From: Jake Vickers [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, December 14, 2005 7:53 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [qmailtoaster] Bogus HELO? > > > Dairenn Lombard wrote: > > >Perhaps I'm not being clearly understood; > > > > > One last thing I had to throw in - one of my servers came back with a > warning on a hostname in greeting.
