Try modifying user properties by command line:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# /home/vpopmail/bin/vmoduser
vmoduser: usage: [options] email_addr or domain ( for the entire domain )

the following options are bit flags in the gid int field
-s ( set no smtp access flag )
-b ( set bounce mail flag )
--> -r ( set no external relay flag )
-a ( grant qmailadmin administrator privileges)
-x ( clear all flags )

I have an old qmail installation, and I have to modify chkuser code so
as to check that option and unset the global "RALYCLIENT" variable in
case it exists.
I don´t know if new versions of qmail are already controlling these
flags. Please, let me know if it is worknig for you, so I can start
planning an upgrade.
