After having QT installed on my MDK9.0 box for over two year without

started on thinking maybe to udpate the mail server.

First thing I was looking for was a box similar to what I have now,
and I found one which is PII-300Mhz with 128MB RAM and a 4gb HDD.

Then I came to the list thinking maybe I can use Debian ... and I got
my answer in this thread. So CentOS it is .. but from what I recall, I
didn't really like its install (and I'm not a Linux Guru).

Anyways, my last two comments are about ... hey, an ISO of QT with a
pre-defined CentOS setup sounds VERY VERY cool!
My second comment is ... what happend to Nate Devis's QT page??? :\
There is a QMail install for Debian. It;s actually in one of the repositories (I can never remember which one). And I think QMailRocks supports Deb as well, if that's the route you want to go. I have thought of the ISO with QMail on it, but there's some issues involved in that as well. Dr. Bernstein's license requires that QMail itself be distributed as source, so it would have to be compiled during build time anyway which isn't much better than what the scripts currently do. The scripts hopefully make is as easy as possible for someone to set up a Toaster, but they at least get familiar with the way it operate during it's installation. Too much easier and anyone and everyone will be able to install it without thinking. (This is all just my opinion) As far as Nate, he got busy with work and new child and has not had time to work on anything much. I think so many people have complained to him about the script they were downloading off his site, that he just removed it (I haven't asked him yet).
