Hi,
I need to run two corporate domain email servers on one phisical machine. Each
of them must be binded to specific IP and must not be connected by any way to
the other.
I've installed the toaster on a new server (Cnt40) and configured qmail to
listen on 2 ips and made the needed configuration. All is working fine except
that all mails are going out from one of the ips - they left the machine always
from ip1. I've searched the net and found that qmail by itself has the problem
with binding to specific ip and there is "local-bind patch" that is workaround
for it. Nice surprise - it is included in the multi toaster patch. In the patch
info is said that the config should be in the control/bindroutes and is similar
to tcprules. So I did my config:
#cat /var/qmail/control/bindroutes
ip1:server_ip_1
ip2:server_ip_2
but it has no efect at all.
Am I missing something or the patch isn't working?
And one more - is it possible to have such setup by using qmail?
