sorry guys after sending the mail to the group i found that qmail & vpopmail
r also running on the server
ps aux |grep sendmail

ps aux |grep qmail
root 3496 0.0 0.0 3680 572 pts/0 S 18:01 0:00 grep qmail
ps aux |grep vpopmail
root 3499 0.0 0.0 3664 572 pts/0 S 18:01 0:00 grep vpopmail
ps aux |grep spamaasasin
root 3507 0.0 0.0 3668 452 pts/0 R 18:02 0:00 grep
spamaasasin
now what to do.

Hi there...
Just login to the server and do a ' ps aux |grep sendmail' and it will show
you if some sendmail process is running. Same for qmail, just replace qmail
in place of sendmail in the above command.

hi all
how can i know that it is running qmail or sendmail coz i did not install
that server some sysadmin who worked in my company previously did it.when i
open the webmail interface it show's me 3 options squrelmail horde &
neomail.from where can i know the details abt what is running in my mail
server.i have root access to the server & the admin interface of cpanel.
