hey, i am also using ie7 and only then i am logging out.. it think.. either ie7 doesnt like my QT or QT doesnt like my ie7... anyways... can i know why i was unable to send the attachments and why it was timingout.. i have updated the appropriate files  php.ini and control file for attachment size..
but the thing is i want to know why it was timing out..
as i am going to imlpement QT on more than 5 servers now..
i have very agressively taken a stand that QT is thousand time better thatn imail which is on Windows,
Can i get to know why this happened ??? and also what should be necessary steps in order to ensure this doesnt happen again in future..

and i also i would like to have a tip from you guys that.. my i am logging thousands of ssh brute force attemps from different ips everyday.. now what do i do to block them, they try ssh, vsftpd.. i have kept strong passwords and machine is patched and upto date .. anything else i should do ??

Hi Stanley,

I'm also facing frequent logouts of Sq. Webmail. But my browser is: IE 7-beta, so I thought it might be to do with the IE 7 version of the browser. Because I could not reproduce it on Firefox in CENTOS. But then I've not tested fully.

I was trying to attach a file bigger than the QT's SQ. Webmail's 2 MB limit (I do not know how to increase it beyond 2 MB as of now), and since Webmail did not come back quickly to say that it is beyond the allowed limit, I clicked on Inbox to cancel the upload and then I met the "Login Error, you should be logged in to see this page" and I had to click the link which then took me to the login page.

Please let me know how can I get out of this logouts/login error, or is it the browser problem.

You can increase the ma attachment size by changing the line in your /etc/php/ini file. You will see a line that says "upload_max_filesize" about 500 lines into the config. Change this to something that makes sense (3M-5M) and then restart qmail and apache.
