Thanks Jake.
I'll try to see how far I could optimise Apache as
such.
Cheers,
Nanda.

Hi,
I installed the nutsmail XP skin and when we try to
access the page from UK, then it is taking too long for those images to get
downloaded. This is using a IE 6 browser on Win XP.
As far as I know, nutsmail skins are just based on CSS
and using few icon sets. I'm not facing any problems on my server with the
same skin pack which is running here in UK. I've got a 2Meg line at home and
the box as such is a P3 with 512MHz Dell Optiplex.
Basically using the web mail, the images on the web are
taking time to download.
Thanks for all your suggesstions, they are really
valuable to me.
I've
always noticed a pause as it loads images on my systems here as well (running
Firefox and IE 6). One of mine is at a co-location center, running off of an
OC, so bandwidth is not an issue. Maybe optimizing Apache would benefit.
Might want to check out their site and see if they offer any suggestions on
streamlining Apache. I know there was an option in there to compress images
before sending, to be uncompressed on client
machine.
