Pardon any repitition, but must confess I haven't read the whole thread.
You do have it connected to a public ip, correct? Not a 192.168.x.x address.

Assuming the machine is itself on a public ip, or your firewall is setup to do port forwarding to your server, you might check with your provider to see if they are filtering port 25. Some block access for spam / virus filtering. Bellsouth for one does for residential addresses.



anybody else has faced this issue..

is it related to firewall or something else ?
