Yea, everything seems to be fine. All packages are up to date, and I see log
files correctly as per Erik's suggestion. It does mark some mail as spam,
just on other it seems like it doesn't even try.

So I do believe it has to do with the "training" spam assassin - is this
something we have to do manually or is almost-AI and learning on it's own? I
skimmed over the spamassassin site and didn't see anything that stuck out.

Hi Guys

I seem to be having similar issues to Jared in regards to spamassassin, it
SEEMs to be working ok, i.e. it shows in the message headers, but spam seems
to be getting through. I did a search thru the smtp log and couldn't find
any spam subject rewrites as suggested by Erik, although I see some messages
rejected against the RBL's I've setup, SPAMD shows as running when I do a
qmailctl stat.

Any more ideas?

Best Regards

Are you using the most current packages? Please do an 'rpm -qa | grep
toaster'.

If you're running the latest, please check the smtp log and see if you have
any entries that look like this.
@8974509874218051423879 simscan:[4654]:SPAM REJECT
(35.20/12.00):1.1998s:***SPAM***

If so, then spamassassin is working and just needs to be trained.
Otherwise, you have issues that need to be fixed.

Thanks,
Erik
