Toaster itself was not set up for use on *BSD. There are some special
patches requires to make QMail run on *BSD which are not included with
the Toaster files. Search the web a little for this; I remember a how to
(I couldn't find it quickly again for you) where the guy set his up
specifically for FreeBSD. They are out there.
