No, you should start a new line after the first "allow" and delete the
comma. The 2nd line should begin with the IP address. You can get rid of the
DKSIGN and RELAYCLIENT parameters too. Example:
127.:allow
216.210.230.236:allow
The DKSIGN isn't needed because that's what signs outgoing mail, and this is
for incoming. The RELAYCLIENT should be dropped, otherwise you'd be setting
up an open relay from that IP address. Not what you want to do.
Don't forget to do
# qmailctl cdb
after you've saved the file to make it take effect.

127.:allow,216.210.230.236:allow,RELAYCLIENT="",DKSIGN="/var/qmail/control/domainkeys/%/private"
would this be the right way of doing it?

How do i add the entry to the tcp.smtp, this is the ip i would need
to add. 216.210.230.236
would i add that in the 127:allow and just do that ip:allow
This should stop it from basically doing any checks on mail from there:
216.210.230.236:allow
So yes, you're correct.
