i'm on it, i'll post the results as soon as i can get someone to do it for me, it's sorta tough for me, considering that i'm in my local LAN, so , i have to get someone to do it for me somewhere else in the world. are you able to telnet me, just out of curiosity, telnet mail.canus.org 25?

h, sorry, i left something out, in either of my /var/log/qmail/send/current or /var/log/qmail/smtp/current, nothing shows up, i guess that should be obvious, if it isn't even reaching my mail server
i'm 100% sure, my dns is set up properly, and my firewall (iptables) is turned off on my mail server, i probably shouldn't be saying that publicly, and my firewall/gateway/smoothwall is allowing 25 through

You're not answering pings, so I assume your firewall is working. Telnet went through.
Check your /var/log/qmail/pop logs and see what the error is when the user connects. Is it only when they try and get email, or only when they try and send email?
