There is the /var/qmail/control/smtpgreeting. Don't know if that's what
you're talking about or not.

i think he is talking about mails that mailer-daemon sends, like "mail
couldn't not be delivered. I give up..." etc.
As far as i know those messages can only be changed in source before
compiling. Correct me if i am wrong...
