[qmailtoaster] problems with local email

I have a server with domain “mydomain.com” hosting email.  I have another server with domain “xxxxx.mydomain.com” running qmailtoaster hosting email.  Anytime email are generated locally such as from logs emails are created as [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead of [EMAIL PROTECTED].  I have checked /etc/hosts but cannot figure out how to get qmailtoaster to use @xxxxx.mydomain.com as address.  Any help would be appreciated.
