Good eye, zsoft. However, last time around I disabled nightly Bayes updating
just to see if I could keep it stable, and it didn't work.

Though, I do have my spamd max children higher than the default of 5, so
maybe your theory is still correct. Since Bayes can be set to autolearn,
maybe too many spam were getting sent to the autolearn while it was also
trying to run 10 children of spamd.

I'm going to set my children back down to 5 and see how that handles the
load (also without nightly batch learns).

Hi, I found these particular situation where bayes gets currupt

-sa-learn --sync run while db is been update by sa

-too many simultaneous acesses to the db
 
solutions 've found

drop the allowed number of spamd childs and pause the toaster during nightly
sync db
