Hello
Just wanted to "bounce" on Erik's comment about the quota and the mailfilter script

The script isnt really made for an account with a quota set as NOQUOTA (a little extra check, not to create the maildirsize file should be added and also to remove it if it was previously created.)

The situation where no maildirsize (quota not set to the account) was created previously
it still works as expected ...
BUT if a maildirsize exists (maybe from an account which had a quota set previously) and the account is a nonquota account now
it is a very dangerous situation, your mail could easily bounce
BOUNCED: bouncesaying '[EMAIL PROTECTED] is over quota' ...

If you decide to use maildrop. just be careful or mod the maildirfilter script to : if the account has no quota, do not try creating the maildirsite and if the maildirsize exist delete it or do not to process it ... a good option would be to add that in qmailadmin, if you change the quota to NOQUOTA
check and remove the maildirsize file ..

This should be taken care I think, it can lead to nasty problems

Cheers
-P

Sounds like qmailadmin only ... ?

Correct, qmailadmin only.

Oh, okay, great!

Make sure you set a quota. Leaving the quota blank breaks the current
mailfilter script. It is why we don't enable it by default.

Thanks,
Erik
