Like Jim, I'd like to get some clearance on this matter: what is safe to do withvqadmin and what is not? And how can one establish the same things from command line?
I'll try and get a wiki page up in the next couple days on this. Basically qmailadmin is alright. No problems there at all.Vqadmin has issues and should not be used for anything besides VIEWING domain info (recover lost passwords and such). Everything can be done at the command line, and here's a page I posted real quick on how to create domains at the command line:

vqadmin gives mixed (and usually non-reproducible) problems for lots of people. I use to to recover forgotten passwords for my users, and that's about all.
