Friends,
My QmailToaster has been running happily for months. I was wondering if there were any regular maintenece things that one should be doing to keep it happy. Are there any Dir that might wish to be emptied? Logs that should be pruned? anything like that. - Also I am running on Centos4 - I have not done the updates on the OS because - well,
it has been working and I do not wish to break it.
Is it safe to do the OS updates ?
Are there any " best" practices for keeping it going? Thanks jim
for me,
- running watchall to see what may go wrong
- service qmail status to check everything up
- look at qmailmrtg .. those graphics are good for my boss
- visit centos and qmailtoaster site if any update
- running sa-stat to see what SA rules trends
- check SA bayes
- oh I forgot to check harddisk (thx Jack to remind me)
Is it possible to display HD size on qmailmrtg ? or send email when it reach 80% ?
- subscribe qmailtoaster-list (duh...)
and for updating to latest centos or qmailtoaster, I tried first on devel qt box, before I running update on production qt server
- what else ??
