Yes that happends on this setup the /var/qmail/alias dir isnt really
taken in consideration :) if I may say
I d suggest doing this : (it works I am using that setup on all my mail
servers)
add your default domain (vadddomain domain ) the default domain taken
from me or defaulthost
then add the aliases root, doublebounce,srs-default (if you use that) to
that domain
then try a simple mail root
and check your send log file ... you will see it beeing delivered to
defaultdomain root account or to the alias you set to that account
