I use a Treo700w, which is Windows Mobile 5. I use POP3 on mine, and when it downloads messages it marks them as read, but there is no option to remove them from the server. This happens on a couple different servers (I run a couple postfix servers as well), so I don't think it's specific to Qmail. What I have done is created 2 accounts. Once is (example) [EMAIL PROTECTED] The other is [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have [EMAIL PROTECTED] set to send a copy of messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] so that I can get emails on my phone as well as my desktop. This also keeps things separate between my desktop and my phone. To keep things clean, I wrote a script that deletes messages older than 6 days out of the me-phone account.Hi all !On a windows mobile 2005 device I have replicated an IMAP account so that the user can control e-mails also when he is not in the office . Inbox e-mail works and I can also send a reply or a new message . If I read a received e-mail after the next sync (made by the comand send/receive in outlook mobile) , then through squirrelmail I can see that the message has been read but If I delete this message and then make a resync nothing happens . I mean, message is not deleted on the server. I tried also to remove it from the deleted items of my mobile device and then resync again but in that way , message reappears on Inbox items !??! Does anyone of you have already faced this strange behaviour? Any suggestions ?many thanks in advance
