Faster & Easier for you now might be to disable the chkuser sender format
check for the blackberry mailservers.
You can do this in your /etc/tcprules.d/tcp.smtp file.
Just copy the default line (without ip) per incoming mail server ip's and
add the ip + SENDER_NOCHECK="1"
I must admit I disabled this per default since it gave to often problems
from different sources (blackberry but also ticketmaster and more..) and I
risk the chances of it beeing an security problem, so far I have not noticed
anything like that and in the basis qmail workings there is no such risk
(that I am aware off...).

Subject: [qmailtoaster] chkuser blocking users
The QMT server is working great on a CentOS 4.4 server, and the only problem
is with the Blackberry users:
@4000000046a631730205d474 CHKUSER rejected sender: from
<SRS0=F1Y/[EMAIL PROTECTED]::>
remote <barracudaspam.domain.com:unknown:172.18.1.9> rcpt <> : invalid
sender address format
I found a link from a user that appears to have the same problem:
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg08389.html
This article says to modify chkuser_settings.h file and rebuild/install the
qmail-toaster package to allow the / in the sender's name according to
http://wiki.qmailtoaster.com/index.php/Chkuser.
Does this appear to be the correct approach?
Thank you.
