i have installed toaster along with phpMyadmin and now after 1 month , i
mistakenly used webmin(trying first time) and change the Mysql passwd and
then i tried after that remote POP mail catching using Thunderbird and
qmail replied with error of user authentication and vpopmail sql errors.
So now i tried almost lots of ways to restore my mysql passwd or change
it to new one , but all invain.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# mysqladmin password "xxxxxxx"
mysqladmin: Can't turn off logging; error: 'Access denied; you need the
SUPER privilege for this operation'
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# mysqladmin password "xxxxxxx" -u root -h localhost
mysqladmin: Can't turn off logging; error: 'Access denied; you need the
SUPER privilege for this operation'

So think of making it hassle free and using without mysql support.
If possible kindly guide me of changing mysql passwd for localhost(will
re-installtion of mysql help solving it? ) .
so that i can start troubleshooting Vpopmail error to thunderbird.
Once i got mysql up i will be applying again following steps (Suggested
by Jake long back on this list to me).
It looks like the database for vpopmail was not created:
mysqladmin create vpopmail -uroot -p
mysqladmin -uroot -p reload
mysqladmin -uroot -p refresh
echo "GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON vpopmail.* TO [EMAIL PROTECTED]
IDENTIFIED BY 'SsEeCcRrEeTt'" | mysql -uroot -p
mysqladmin -uroot -p reload
mysqladmin -uroot -p refresh
It will ask for your root password after each of those. You may need to
reinstall vpopmail-toaster after that.
