Not sure how far along you are, but any chance you can/would use the
qmt-iso? I did, and was very happy with the result. Stuff just worked -
all I had to do was configure.

Subject: [qmailtoaster] Squirrel Mail failure
I still can't seem to get everything up and running, so i guess what i'll
have to do is go 1 problem at a time and quit butting heads with the
concrete wall i'm experiencing atm.
so for starters, i can seem to get squirrelmail to allow me to login.
it was working before, now its giving me connection refused. this happened
after those messages about the queue and not being able to send/recieve. so
this is what i see.
I get 111: connection refused. if i shut down qmail doing qmailctl stop and
then do a netstat on 143... nothing shows up so i know it's not some other
daemon trying to hog the port. I check the authlib/current in my logs i see
@4000000046baa33d1b7077ac INFO: modules="authvchkpw", daemons=5
@4000000046baa33d1b708b34 INFO: Installing libauthvchkpw
@4000000046baa33d299410dc INFO: Installation complete: authvchkpw
but no authentication attempt.
all other logs seem fine. any suggestions as where to look on this problem?
i can't seem to find an issue.
I could do that yeah. I dont think i have it configured though.
could you point me to some info on that? i reciently did the updates
too so maybe thats yet another issue. who knows at this point.... i
just need it running again.
