Group, It seems that when I send an e-mail from my blackberry to a qmail server, I get an error. Note, I can send to this same address all day from any other e-mail client.
---Example1 Delivery Status Notification (Failure) ---- The following message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> was undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 571-'sorry, sender address has invalid format (#5.7.1 - chkuser)' Final-Recipient: rfc822;[EMAIL PROTECTED] Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 (permanent failure) Remote-MTA: dns; [68.142.96.70] Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 571-'sorry, sender address has invalid format (#5.7.1 - chkuser)' (delivery attempts: 0) Reporting-MTA: dns; smtp02.bis.na.blackberry.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---Example2 Delivery Status Notification (Failure) --- The following message to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> was undeliverable. The reason for the problem: 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 571-'sorry, sender address has invalid format (#5.7.1 - chkuser)' Final-Recipient: rfc822;[EMAIL PROTECTED] Action: failed Status: 5.0.0 (permanent failure) Remote-MTA: dns; [130.13.154.197] Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 5.1.0 - Unknown address error 571-'sorry, sender address has invalid format (#5.7.1 - chkuser)' (delivery attempts: 0) Reporting-MTA: dns; smtp05.bis.na.blackberry.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seems like: smtp02.bis.na.blackberry.com is the culprit. Is there something I need to do on my end to make Blackberry's smtp work? Odd thing is, my blackberry can push from the same POP3 account with no problems. -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - http://arealestatewebsite.com/ $199.99/yr Real Estate Web Sites --------------------------------------------------------------------- QmailToaster hosted by: VR Hosted <http://www.vr.org> --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
