Hello,
when receiving some e-mail, not containing viruses or spam (it
seems...), the sender receive this message from his SMTP:
<smtp-out26.alice.it #5.5.0 smtp;554 invalid message content (#5.3.2)>
I have QmailToaster running on a Linux CentOS 4.4 box, with Simscan.
Which configuration files can i verify and in which logfiles can i see
the reason of the reject?
Thank you, cheers!
Francesco
it seems the sender sent email with attachment that are not allowed on
/var/qmail/control/badloadertypes
/var/qmail/control/badmimetypes
/var/qmail/control/simcontrol
you can check the wiki for they're function
http://wiki.qmailtoaster.com/index.php/Control_Files_by_Name
for logfile you can check /var/qmail/log/smtp/current
with below command you can monitor your smtp traffic
tail -f /var/log/qmail/smtp/current | tai64nlocal
