I have a customer who would like to implement a secure delete function on their toaster. Essentially as email comes in and is cleared out with pop (they only use pop to check), they want to make sure that it is securely deleted from the server. I understand this is probably more of a general linux question but I wanted to ask here first since it will mainly be used in the context of a toaster. Has anyone here implemented such a solution before? If so, any recommendations on the best approach to this?
