At the time I did the last change, the tcp.smtp file was undergoing
changes as QMT evolved. I was also using it to upgrade systems to newer
versions at the time and old tcp.smtp files would not work with the
newer system, so I left them out. I figured the default would work fine
for most applications, so did not include it.
I'll make a note and include an option to restore it in the next release.
