Hi list,

There ware many bouncing mail in qmail queue, about 10k~20k per week.
They made qmail very slowly.
I had to clear them from "/var/qmail/queue/" with shell script.

How do I filter them?

Thanks.
Regards.

Kevin

All of the messages that are still waiting to be delivered seem to be the hinet.net domain. Can you look at the logs and see if there's a reason their server is not accepting them? If you can solve that, that would take care of the problem you're seeing in the example you sent. You can also lower the queuelifetime to something more sane (by default it's 5 days). I usually set mine to 4-5 hours - that gives an error message back to the sender in a timely manner (usually same day) and allows them to fix the incorrect address (that's usually the problem) or allows you to catch problems before they get out of hand (such as yours are doing).
