Yes, there always is a reason.

You can, but I wouldn't do it that way. A better way to is to remove
"$RBLSMTPD $BLACKLIST" from the /var/qmail/supervise/smtp/run file. That way
the rblsmtpd program doesn't run at all (a bit more efficient that way).
I'm guessing you didn't use the qtp-install-spamdyke script. Maybe you
should have? :(
If you post your spamdyke configuration file, your smtp run file, and a
sample from your smtp log we might be able to help.
