with a few other things. There was a lot of talk, planning and so on but I've

if something new is being worked on which addresses some of these issues and

Yes there are. There are 2 GUI projects I'm aware of being worked on for QMT. One is going to be OSS (AFAIK) and the other will be closed source. I'm not sure as to what projected release dates are for either, but hopefully soon.
