I'm planning on changing my mailsetup at home to use qmail toaster, inside a
VM and I want to run it on opensuse11.0 Having a quick look around the
toaster site, there's no instructions yet for 11.0, so I figure I'll document
and create the instructions.
My plan is to create two setups.
1) build a qmailtoaster build environment to build the toaster rpms. and
2) how to build the toaster appliance. (probably a VMd appliance)
so, the pre-requisite for this is getting the RPMs to build cleanly on
opensuse, then put the instructions together for building a build environment
then for installing the toaster.
So, onto the questions.
1) is anyone already working on this for opensuse ?
2) does anyone have any insights for doing this ? Any pitfalls I may run into
trying to separate the build environment from the toaster appliance ?
3) is there some kind of SVN for pulling all the source spec files from &
what's needed to check stuff into there ? Or should I just install
the .src.rpm files and submit a set of patches to the list ?
