Perfect thanks Jake, I was hoping it was something simple. It can stay in that location, it helps when users setup an account to see what that account is doing. As long as I know where to look that's great.

Now as this is our first IMAP server I'm assuming there is possibly something I need to configure/reconfigure. Is there anything I need to configure in order for IMAP authentication attempts to log in maillog? The only entries I have are of the nature... "host2 spamc[31505]: skipped message, greater than max message size" Have I missed anything? Is there anything in particular I should be aware of on Qmail using IMAP? Qmailtoaster doesn't log imap to maillog. The log you're looking for will be in /var/log/qmail/imap4/current Not sure how it will affect the maillog file, nor logrotate (who if I remember correctly is the daemon that handles rotating that log), b ut you can change the patch/file in /var/qmail/supervise/imap4/log/run Just be careful when you have 2 daemons trying to rotate the logs.....
