After 350Mb of yum updates the rpm then built and installed fine and is

you can always build it manually.

Just for everybody's information, I fully upgraded my CentOS 5 box
via yum and now the latest spamassasin-toaster source RPM (3.2.5)
builds, installs and (seems to) work fine.
