Sounds like a DNS issue to me, not a QMT issue. I'm really not clear on what the problem is though.

I isolated pop3 and smtp connexion and I have the PTR request only when I make a pop3 connexion (PTR of QMT Wan IP address) My run files for pop3: #!/bin/sh PASSPROG="/home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw"
HOSTNAME=`hostname --fqdn`
exec /usr/bin/softlimit -m 9000000 \
/usr/bin/tcpserver -v -R -H -c 200 0 110 \
/var/qmail/bin/qmail-popup $HOSTNAME \
$PASSPROG /var/qmail/bin/qmail-pop3d Maildir 2>&1
I don't see anything wrong

    Hi
I want to remove the PTR requests. At this moment, QMT is making a
    request of his own IP for each smtp transaction.
Sorry for English :(

        Hello all
I have a problem with reverse lookup with QMT installation. I
        have a lot of PTR request from one IP. I have -H option for
        all TCPserver services at this moment. When I check qmail logs
        files, I can see only IP and no reverse lookup check. I would
        want to know how to debug that ?

        What are you trying to accomplish?
