You can also query spamhaus and see what your response time is by using
the following method (this is a check to query whether or not 127.0.0.2
is in the list - substitute any IP you want):
host 2.0.0.127.sbl.spamhaus.org
Spamhaus is free*, but they do limit the number of queries you can
perform in a month; I believe the limit is 15,000 but don't hold me to
that. If you need more queries per month you they offer commercial services.
Also try (at least temporarily) removing the blacklist you're using and
see if the problem goes away.
