Dear Jakes,

Reinstalling clamav-toaster resolved my problem and also i have created a daily
cron job to delete the clamav_tmp folders from the /tmp dir just to make sure
that nothing accumulates in the tmp dir.

I am currently running on Fedora 5 but i am planning to move my mailserver to
Centos 5.3 . I guess backup sciprt and restore scripts will do the job for me
to migrate current mailboxes to the new installation???

Regards,

Anil Aliyan

    Dear Jakes,

I have installed the lastest rpm 3 days before only and before that i was
using clamav-toaster-0.94.2-1.3.24 and everything was just fine till that day.

I came to know bout this problem today only when my server stopped
responding and when i check it found that there was not space left on the hard
drive. Earlier my mail server was using 39 GB and today whole 260 GB HDD was
full just because of the clamav update file download files accumulated in the
/tmp folder. There were more then 1000 folders in tmp dir and all of them were
having around 60 mb of main.cvd and daily.cvd files. After deleting all those
tmp folder everything started working asusual.

I`ll reinstall it today and let you know.

Is it fine to install the new updated version using fdr50-install-script.sh
script??

Whenever new updates are availabe i usually un-install the older versions
maually and then install newer version using script mentioned above. Is it
correct to install this way??

What version of Fedora are you running?
