Ok,
Thank you for your help,
I have an another question, I search a soft wich chek process and
services, I know one for Unix but it is not comptatible with Linux, I
want this software verified that the process is well underway and if
it is not the case that prevents me by e-mail and restarts itself
would give a semblance of high-availability.
daemontools (used to run Qmailtoaster) monitors the process states and
attempts to restart them if they are not running.
Google the Linux HA project and you will find lots of info on high
availability.
All of my servers have been running with no issues for months. I restart
them only when a kernel update is issued.
If this is a commercial project and you have funding you can contact me
offlist. I set up high availability, clusters, distributed clusters, and
mirroring for ISPs for Qmail or Postfix.
