Hi list!

I have a private mail server. I get the mail from several outsite pop3 servers with fetchmail. The server is not reachable from the internet. Only with squirrelmail.

I know spamdyke helps servers to reduce spam during the smtp connection. But the only connection I have is between fetchmail and the mail server.

Does spamdyke help my server to reduce spam?

Richard Vinke.

Sadly, no. spamdyke is effective when/because it's connected to the sending smtp server. It cannot be implemented with fetchmail. By then it's too late. :(

Thanks Eric.
That saves me time installing it.
