I don't now with certainty, but I expect that would be the case.

How you go about "not stating simscan" might be a little tricky (again, I don't know for sure, but a little testing would tell). Eliminating the QMAILQUEUE= variable entirely might work, providing that there is a default defined. Otherwise, this might break the delivery chain. I think the safest way would be to change the variable to QMAILQUEUE=/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue instead of having it point to simscan.
