hi i installed spf to prevent spam from cases where the from and to email id is the same and from my server.
to check the work i did as such a) on SERVER A : i created email id : u...@domain_a.com the dns settings for this email is all on server A b) on SERVER B : i created [email protected], used it for smtp authentication and sent email as follows mail from : u...@domain_a.com mail to : u...@domain_a.com thus SERVER B is used for simulating the spammer's server the issue is that i get a failure notice on the email id u...@domain_a.com on server A with the complete spam email which i don't want how to prevent such failure notices which contains the spam message and defeats the entire purpose of putting up SPF thanks rajesh ################ <u...@domain_a.com>: User and password not set, continuing without authentication. 208.15.3.27 does not like recipient.
