Don't be sorry - you're trying to help me!!! :)

I got the file to run now - but it returns an oddity;

[r...@mail spamdyke]# cat /var/log/qmail/smtp/current |
/etc/spamdyke/spamdyke-stats

---------------- Summary ----------------
Allowed:        0    0.00%
Timeout:        0    0.00%
Errors :        0    0.00%
Denied :        0    0.00%
Total  :        0    0.00%

I changed my logging over in Spamdyke to the normal /var/log/maillog and I
get hits:

[r...@mail spamdyke]# cat /var/log/maillog | /etc/spamdyke/spamdyke-stats
       2   66.66%  ALLOWED

You have some problem using the normal qmt logs at
/var/log/qmail/smtp/current. That is where Spamdyke logs are kept by
default of the script Jake has in QTP. I gotta learn some perl scripting
- that is really nice.
