Hey Jake (or anyone else), do you recall why the stock QMT is using the -H option with tcpserver for smtp?

There is nothing in the spec file notes - I seem to recall there were some changed made in 2006 to make the system faster and this may have been one of the changes since spamassassin may not have used that data at the time. Or it may have been because at the time there was no need to look up the hostname in DNS. Can't really say for sure since there are no notes in the spec file. Have you looked at what this change does to the rest of the components? Does it change logging info?
