To all,
        Just looking for confirmation.

I am currently backing up one site's mail, by stopping qmail, using rsync to
copy all the files in the /home/vpopmail/domains/ directory.

I use this on other sites without any issues, but in this case I am copying
to a windows share, not another Linux machine. Not by choice.

The Qmail naming convention is as follows (file name condensed to S=71459),
it the extra parts I am interested in.

New Message *S=71459
Message seen *S=71459:2
Message Read *S=71459:2,S

When the file is copied, the windows share does not like the ":" so it drops
the rest of the file name. I have tested copying files to the server and
bringing them back, but I just need to know if there is any issue with the
file retuning as *S=71459, not *S=71459:2 or *S=71459:2,S

Qmail appears to be happy with these settings.

Cheers

Mike Canty
