I don't why you need an activesync technologies,
most mobile devices and PDAs is working great with QMT

and for push technologies there is already a feature in IMAP called IMAP IDLE

and from I know, QMT already using IMAP version that has IMAP IDLE feature

The only mailbox protocols I'm aware of that QMT uses are IMAP and POP3.

Is active sync a protocol that's used to synchronize email? I'd like to know more about active sync and which devices use it.
