I wanted to know if there are any tools which can help check the qmail server security, integrity and availability. Security - To test the qmail server is not an open relay. And to test if any of the mail accounts having any weak passwords or sending unnecessary high volume of emails. Integrity - To check if the qmail server's all the configuration files and packages are adhering to the required security. Availability - To test this mail server reputation with other providers. For eg., if there are many SMTP errors while sending to yahoo mail servers, it should alert the postmaster or the mail administrator. This will make sure the server is not sending any SPAM and alert the administrator to take corrective action before the mail server blocked by others. The above query seems to be a very generalized but will be of immense help to the mail administrator for monitoring and controlling SPAM. Regards, Atul Paralikar
