I have made a GFS active/active cluster of two qmail servers.
qmail is listening on 25 and 587, the rest is on dovecot (pop3,imap,

balancing is made with DNS, simple round robin.
I am wondering is there a way to use same certificate for two servers
without SSL warnings displayed by the client. Because of roundrobin
users get equal access to both servers and because those two servers
have their own ssl certificates MUA clients are displaying warnings
about certificates.
Anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?
Is the cert signed with the hostname or the IP?
Have you tried importing both certs into the client to see if this
resolves it?

Good questions.
I'm wondering, since the outside world sees both servers via the same
url, is there some reason you couldn't use the cert which corresponds to
the common url on both servers (at least for these ports/protocols)?
