I just ran my update to update my Clam-AV. I have two issues, neither big.

I always have to skip through a bunch of items that are already installed and up to date. How can I remove or refresh that list?

You can't. qtp-newmodel lists each package in case you'd like to select one for rebuilding.

If you can describe a better way that you'd like the script to work, that would be helpful. Perhaps an optional flag could be added to only list certain packages, eg -u would only list packages that need updating.

After the Clam-AV update my connection closed while I was doing something else so I was unable to finish the installation. The install finished correctly, but I was unable to remove the RPM and sandbox. Can I restart the script where I left off (I doubt that), or manually remove the sandbox and source RPM's?

The source rpms are in /usr/src/qtp-upgrade/SRPMS/.

You can remove the sandbox by doing:
# . qtp-config
# qtp-umount-sandbox
# rm -rf $SANDBOX $OVERLAY

The sandbox and overlay really don't take up much space with the unionfs, but it's nice to keep things tidy.

If you're that tight on space, you might have a look in the /usr/src/qtp-upgrade/ subdirectories and see what's there that you can get rid of. There's nothing there that effects an operational QMT, it's all just administrative paper trails and backups.
