I just came across a but that I thought I'd document.
I changed the name of a user who got married, and suddenly all her email
was being duplicated, and nobody else got any dupes.
It turns out that qmailadmin hosed up the .qmail file for her account a bit.
As an example, before change:
|/var/qmail/bin/preline /usr/bin/maildrop -A 'Content-Filter:
maildrop-toaster' /etc/mail/mailfilter
After change:
|/var/qmail/bin/preline /usr/bin/maildrop -A 'Content-Filter:
maildrop-toaster' /etc/mail/mailfilter
/home/vpopmail/domains/shubes.net/ejs/Maildir/
The additional line causes qmail to deliver both maildrop and again
directly. Removing the 2nd line eliminates the dupe.
It'd be nice to have this fixed, but I expect it can wait until the
release of vpopmail 5.5, which will contain a corresponding qmailadmin.
This email should be a bug report (will be when that's back up),
assigned to the next vpopmail/qmailadmin release.
