Suse ships an (improperly?) patched libbz2 which infloops.
Suse has yet to upgrade libbz2 to a non fulnerable version both on OpenSUSE and
SLES.
The attached patch allows configure to continue instead of hanging.
Is it possible to include this patch inside the src.rpm?

Do you know what version(s) of OpenSUSE? If it's a version that is
included in the spec file I can add the change, since it appears to only
entail adding a #ifdef to the code in one place.
