Hi,
I see the following article in
"cyberciti.biz/faq/postfix-remove-hide-hostnames-ip-addresses/
<http://cyberciti.biz/faq/postfix-remove-hide-hostnames-ip-addresses/>"
that show how we can change the header checks in Postfix but i need
something like this for qmail to change Sender ip address !
I want to replace my mail server ip address with our client ip address
(senders).
The article describes how to hide the client (MUA) ip address, which I
suppose might be useful considering that some email gateways (barracuda
in particular) are (mis)configured to check this address against RBLs.
I'm not aware of how this can be done with QMT off hand.
Replacing your mail server's ip address with the sender's address is
something entirely different, and something which I would advise not to
do. I expect this would result in a good deal of email not reaching its
destination.
What is the problem that you're trying to remedy?
